In honor of the upcoming Martin Luther King Day, Dvořák’s String Quartet No. 12, Op. 96, “American Quartet” is this weeks melody. Dvořák was heavily influenced by the Black American spirituals when he visited the US in the late 19th century. The video performance is located at this YouTube link.
